Maybe it's just me, but over the past few months (been a customer for 4 years), I’ve noticed a decline in the quality and care put into the food at MOMO's Sushi.
Our usual take-out order consists of the Chicken Teri Don, Box A Chicken Teriyaki, and the Appetizer Tempura (4 pcs). Unfortunately, the food feels like it’s been prepared in a rush and crammed into the containers without much thought.
Everything was packed so tightly that it compromised the overall quality. The chicken in both dishes was soggy and fatty, despite being coated with teriyaki sauce. The salad had just a few drops of dressing. The gyoza was overcooked, and the compact packaging caused the rice with vegetables and sauce to clump together into a brick.
I’m not someone who usually complains, but it becomes frustrating when you end up not enjoying—or worse, wasting—your meal. I really hope MOMO's Sushi brings back the standard and attention to detail that made their food enjoyable in the past.

Food was all ready for pick up and it tasted delicious, no issues. The temperature of the tuna and salmon was perfect, not too warm or frozen.

Excellent, generous, consistent cali roll and dynamite roll! It's just a block away, so I send in my order and head out and it's always ready and waiting. Great value!

I recently ordered from Momo Sushi and tried a selection of their rolls: Salmon Avocado, Spicy Tuna, Yam Avocado, and Chicken Teriyaki. Overall, it was a satisfying experience with a few highlights!
The Salmon Avocado roll was fresh and delicious, with buttery salmon balanced by creamy avocado, making it both simple and flavorful. The fish tasted high-quality, and the avocado was perfectly ripe—definitely a winner.
The Spicy Tuna roll had a pleasant kick, though the spice could’ve been a bit stronger to bring out more flavor. The tuna itself was fresh, and I enjoyed the texture of the roll, which had a nice balance of softness and a bit of chew from the rice.
The Yam Avocado roll was surprisingly good as well. The yam was tender and slightly sweet, pairing beautifully with the smooth avocado. This one felt like a great vegetarian option and a perfect contrast to the other rolls in the order.
Lastly, the Chicken Teriyaki roll added variety, with tender pieces of chicken coated in a light teriyaki glaze. It was a bit different from the classic seafood rolls but still satisfying, though I think it could use a bit more sauce for added flavor.
Momo Sushi’s quality was definitely there, and the presentation was nice. My only minor suggestion would be to slightly up the spice level on the Spicy Tuna and add a touch more teriyaki sauce on the Chicken roll. That said, it was a solid meal with a good mix of flavors and textures that I’d order again!
